Dear Ms. Meyn,

Thanks for your intelligent and persuasive assessment of the documentary “Fork Over Knives”. We are in dire need of sound nutritional information that tips the overweighted scales back in the direction of plant food, whether one ends up relying exclusively on plant-based diets or not. We are also in need of being reminded how we can create healthy immune systems in our kitchens instead of being drawn in by mass media’s single-minded focus on quick-fix pills at the pharmacy. I look forward to seeing the film for myself!

…I LOVE visiting the downtown condos, but have to have a little more space since I’m a country girl at heart. Cool upside to the recession: the homes closer in to the heart of the city are beginning to get rehabbed. Yay!

You’ll enjoy Sprouts for the convenience and ease of navigation. All the great vegetarian products without the shopping maze in Whole Foods or Central Market. The best part…they carry Bob’s (original) Bleu Cheese Dressing, something difficult to find outside of California.

I have to laugh–about your m-i-l having a point. Don’t you hate it? I have not given up ice cream yet, but perhaps this will be a smooth way to abstain. I am off to Cantina Laredo for lunch to check out those new veggie options.

I’ve never tried it! The sauce and tortillas would be fine; the filling, with sour cream, is the only thing I’m not sure about. I’ll try it next time, but if you try it first, let me know!
